Gender Stereotype Training Welcome to our short course This course consists of ideas, resources, and bite-sized lectures all aimed to provide parents and education professionals a psychological insight to how gender stereotypes develop in children. Course Description. Gender Sensitivity Training in the Workplace is a course that explores a wide range of the deeply held beliefs people have regarding sex and gender and explains how these issues play out in organizations. Each of the fifteen lessons is designed to give you a deeper understanding of a specific issue related to gender. Step 1 Arrange participants in four groups. Step 2 Ask group 1 to discuss and define terms “gender and sex” and explain the difference between them. Ask group 2 to do the same for terms “transgender and transsexual”, group 3 for terms “gender equality and gender equity” and group 4 for terms “gender equality and women’s rights”. PP Step 3 Ask participants to be as concrete as possible and use examples when possible.
